It's really not a very good idea to start blogging this late for the three or four of you. Gets my mind rolling, frolicking, worrying, fearing, writing, and all of these interfere with sleep.
But there really is so much going on in America outside of Indiana high school basketball. A main topic tomorrow morning will be the melee at the Trump rally on Friday night. Our own Chuck Pullen was there and he's scheduled to come in at 6:15 with his version. Be prepared. Put on the tinfoil hat.
This morning I got called out of bed around 6am to go down to the station and turn it back on. Problem is I couldn't turn it back on because our Comcast connection between our new and old studios was down. Rained a lot last night. In the end, I spent a good five hours waiting for the Comcast guy and trying to build a workaround. Not your ideal Sunday morning in the middle of March, but what better way to celebrate 12 years of owning WJOB.
Veteran broadcasters? Not a chance. Still newbies. Everyone in this industry has been here a while. Rookies. We're freaking rookies.
That should do as a good night. I want to tell you all about my views on the Trump, Cruz, Rubio, Kasich thing and about Hillary and Bernie. But that would be too much for a Sunday night. Go to bed.
