What if I try to build a TV station for the Region and fail? How embarrassing would that be? Rest is needed from the microphone once in a while. Take it while you can get it.
As the three or four of you know – and so do a few broadcasting students 50 years from now – that I do the morning radio show here in northwest Indiana. I start talking about 5:30 and end usually around 8:30. It’s about three hours a day on average for the morning show. Disorder piles up like newspapers on the dining room table.
It’s not chaos, exactly. It’s more like I lost my blow dryer and still care about my hair. Splendid is the nature of a wet sidewalk in the morning,
Aggrieved is the emotion you get when somebody leaves you, Anger is what comes up when you don’t listen to the other side. Relief is what happens when it’s all over. |
