This really is a Purdue home game. Every time the Boilers do something good, there's a huge roar. When Virginian hits a shot, oh well.
Per usual, Purdue's Carsen Edwards leads the way with 16 points, mostly on rocket 3-pointers. Ryan Cline, his long-range counterpart, has yet to get hot. He's got six points.
If you're a Boiler fan, what's the positive? I hinted at it - the Boilers aren't scared of anyone and, win or lose, they seem comfortable in the moment. Crown Point's Sasha Stefanovic got in for a peak but didn't get to shoot. There's a lot of drunk people here... heavy, shrill whistling and high fives that miss. All of the people doing this, gurgling with alcohol, are wearing black.
30-29. Purdue with the lead. I'm sitting in the media section. All sorts of TV and radio stations and print media and online media didn't show. I did. I hope like hell:
1. Purdue wins
2. I get a media pass for the final four in Minneapolis, Minnesota on April 6th. Cross your Boiler fingers.
