I did do the radio show this morning, once again broadcasting for the first half hour from the parking lot of the Purdue Northwest Commercialization Center. The technology is advancing so rapidly that I can broadcast on Facebook Live and have that play over the WJOB 1230 AM and 104.7 FM airwaves. It's pretty cool. I'm still toying with what to call how we now do radio - "flex broadcasting" or "reverse broadcasting" or, my personal favorite, "JEDbroadcasting." The latter is one word.
By the way, I really do want to thank the three or four of you who still read my blog. I have been remiss in writing regularly. For a while there, a bunch more than three or four of you come along for the ride. Somehow that frightened me, so I backed off. There's a special thanks in there for unheralded educator Carol Terry, whose words still haunt me. "Keep writing." She grabbed my arm and looked me in the eyes to make sure I understood the importance of her plea.
Anyways, the Cubs start in exactly two hours. Alexis just walked in from a fake productive day at the law office. She's hungry. We're gonna go eat one of our clients, probably Theo's on the Boulevard. Salmon Greek style is out of this world.
